By using the Event Merchandise Services website or placing an order you accept the following terms and conditions.  These terms and conditions may change from time to time without prior notice to you. 

Privacy Policy

By ordering or registering with Event Merchandise Services you grant us the right to use your information to acknowledge the receipt of email for order, process your order, give shipping updates and add your contact details to our database.  This information won’t be provided outside our group of companies unless it is directly needed to process your order or required by law.  From time to time we may contact you regarding offers, in-store or special events and new products. Unsubscribing to emails is easy via a link at the footer of each email or contact us at support@eventmerchandise.co.nz

We will not hold your personal information for longer than is required for the purpose(s) for which it was collected, and will make all reasonable steps to ensure the information is accurate and up-to-date.  You are entitled to view and amend this information.  You can do this on-line or by emailing our Privacy Compliance Officer at support@eventmerchandise.co.nz.

After a transaction, your credit card information will not be stored on our servers.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

We make every endeavour to ensure all the information on the website is correct, however we do not accept any responsibility for any loss or damage arising out of your use of or reliance on information contained on or accessed through this website.

Ordering Procedure

You may offer to purchase goods or services described on this website for the price specified on this website.  Once your order has been received we will provide an electronic order confirmation.  By placing an order you’re confirming that you are legally able to make a binding contract, have access to the funds to pay the order and are legally entitled to use the funds, payment details and method you have provided.

Your receipt of an electronic order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. We reserve the right at any time after receipt of your order to decline or accept your order for any reason. All orders placed may obtain pre-approval with an acceptable method of payment, however we may require additional verification or information before accepting and processing any order.


New Zealand

Standard orders are processed when credit card authorization and/or bank deposit has cleared. Orders shipped via NZ Post/Courier Post typically arrive within 3 business days after you have received notification of shipment via email (Monday through Friday, not including weekends & holidays) within NZ. All orders are shipped within 2-3 business days. 

All orders placed on Friday after 1:00 p.m. will be processed on the following Monday. We charge a flat rate of $5 within New Zealand for tracked courier.

All orders should be personally delivered with a signature obtained as per NZ Post standard policy.  However, in a situation where a signature cannot be obtained then the driver has been given authority to leave the parcel at the delivery address, unless a signature has specifically been requested when ordering.  Any special delivery instructions will be passed on to the courier company.


Orders to Australia are shipped via NZ Post and can take up to 10 working days to arrive once despatched.

We will try our best to get your item to you as fast as we can.

Other Overseas Destinations

We’re currently working on expanding the list of countries we ship to.  When other countries become available we will use the fastest cost effective method possible to get your order to you as quickly as possible.

International Customs and Other Charges

Duties and other international customs charges are not included in the purchase price and all charges are to be paid by the customer upon delivery of each order placed. Orders cannot be returned to the sender should you fail to pay the applicable importation, customs duties or other charges. We are not responsible for the payment of the duties and other international customs charges. We will never pay these charges on your behalf.

Cancellation of Orders

We will accept or decline cancellations of any orders placed at our sole discretion. Should you wish to cancel an order placed we must be immediately notified in writing before the goods have been shipped. If the goods have been shipped we reserve the right to refuse the order cancellation request or charge a cancellation fee we should be unable to request the return of the package from our delivery service.

Credit Returns Policy

If you are disappointed by the sizing you are welcome to return the item.  We will do our best to exchange this for you, but if the requested size isn't available we will issue you an Event Merchandise Services credit. With this credit, you will be able to purchase something else that you love. The amount of this credit will be less any shipping paid with your order and is valid for 12 months from the date of issue. It can be used as payment toward any purchase with Event Merchandise Services.

Certain conditions apply;

1) Tags must be attached and the item must be unworn, clean and odour free.

2) Returns must be received within two weeks (14 days from the date of receiving the goods) or the item will be returned to you at your cost.  We will not process returns if not within this timeframe. This may seem strict. However, we turn over the product so quickly that if a longer time-frame were given, it would be difficult to resell the item when all other sizes have sold out.

I want to return an item, what do I do?

Just package up the item(s) that you are returning together with the completed Returns Form and a copy of the invoice provided with your order.

You MUST INCLUDE a completed Returns Form with a selected reason for the return. Without this information, it is very difficult for us to process returns.  There are three valid return codes:

A = Returning in brand new unworn condition for store credit within the 14 day returns time frame.

B = Incorrect item sent - send correct item or issue store/shipping credit if replacement unavailable.

C = Item received is faulty. Email support@eventmerchandise.co.nz and advise us of the fault. A replacement will be offered if available, or a store credit or refund will be offered if the item is no longer available.

PLEASE NOTE: Refunds for faulty items can take up to 5 working days to process.

For returns for credit, once we receive and process your item(s), we will email you with your credit code, which is in the form of a gift card.

Using your gift card credit code is easy!  Just hop onto our website and add items you like to your cart as usual.  When you get to check out just insert your unique credit code into the block that's located in the top right hand of your screen and click 'Apply' then proceed as you normally do to complete your order.

Warranty Returns Policy

Customers are covered for 90 days after the original purchase date if there is a defect, fault or failure due to the manufacturing process. Unfortunately, we cannot cover a fault or damage caused by wear and tear, improper use or accident.

We will adhere to the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, which states your rights under a set of guarantees that automatically apply between Event Merchandise Services and the customer when a purchase is made. 

We will also adhere to the Fair Trading Act 1986, which protects you from being misled or unfairly treated by traders or shops. The Act is here to prohibit misleading or deceptive conduct, false representations and unfair practices. It also sets out when information about certain products must be disclosed to consumers and helps ensure products are safe.

What will we do? 

  • If the product is under warranty the following steps will apply. We will also credit you the cost of handling and delivery.
  • If no replacement is available we will issue a store credit or a refund according to the customer's choice.

Christmas Shopping and Shipping Deadlines

Domestic Orders placed for in stock items before Thursday 19th December will be sent by 20th December

Domestic Orders placed after 20th December will not be shipped until middle January 2021

International Orders; no orders will be shipped from 3th December. Orders placed after this date will not be shipped until middle January 2021.
